It was a beautiful day. Thank you to everyone for coming together for the kids & our community. A special thank you to our talented dancers, MC Mr. Jermaine Bell & Dakota Outlawz Drum Group with Mr. Londel Seaboy , and BHS Four Directions Ms. Karla & Facilities, along with BHS & BPS Administration & BPS Indigenous Education Department.

This was Pow-Wow on the Lawn - BHS was started years ago by Ms. Davis, and each year continues and has grown immensely. Thank you, BHS for supporting and joining in partnership with many entities coming together to ensure the day was a success!

4th Grade BPS Students are in for a treat again this year for our annual trek to United Tribes Technical College to learn and celebrate Indigenous Education and partake in some fun learning activities from the Circles Alliance!

This is just one of the experiential learning opportunities our students get. Stay tuned for more as we enter another beautiful and busy week!

Community Development Corporation Bismarck Veterans Memorial Public Library Bismarck IPAC, WOZU - Planting Seeds of Change Bismarck State College Bismarck State College Sitting Bull College MHA Culture & Language Department North Dakota Indian Affairs Commission & so many more! All have something incredible to offer and all create some incredible spaces that are safe, welcoming and community centered.

When our students, families, school communities & Our larger COMMUNITY come together, incredible things happen. We took your feedback, your surveys and your words to heart.
We had an amazing year last year continuing to add to the supports, events and learning offered.

This year is no different.
We will be adding MORE.

We invite you to join in our upcoming Monthly community nights, consisting of language learning, pow-wow practice nights, support groups and more.
No matter what school you attend, your family is invited.
