I had the honor of moderating a meaningful panel discussion, “First Lady and the Modern Presidency,”
alongside Betsy Martin, Anita McBride, and Michelle Orton.

The role of the First Lady has evolved throughout our nation’s history, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to engage in such an insightful conversation with these incredible women.

The official dedication of the Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library was a wonderful way to kick off the celebration of America's 250th birthday! It was an honor to be part of such a historic occasion. Thank you President Donald J. Trump for visiting Medora. I can't wait for the Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library to officially open its doors on July 4th!

I had the incredible opportunity to attend the 2026 Special Olympics USA Games in Minneapolis, and what an inspiring trip it was! From participating in the Opening Ceremony to meeting athletes and watching them compete, every moment was filled with joy.

One of my favorite parts was cheering on Special Olympics North Dakota. These athletes represent North Dakota with pride, passion, and perseverance, and it was an honor to support them as they competed.

A quote that stayed with me all weekend came from Tim Shriver: “In our world, the definition of greatness is the person who gives everything they’ve got.”

That definition of greatness was on full display in every athlete I met and watched compete. Their dedication, courage, and spirit truly embody what it means to give everything you’ve got. Thank you to the athletes, coaches, volunteers, and families who make events like this possible. North Dakota athletes, we are cheering you on!
