The Western North Dakota Honor Flight is feeling incredibly grateful tonight! 🇺🇸🥎✨

A heartfelt THANK YOU to the McQuades Charitable Softball Tournament Board for their generous support. At their presentation banquet, we were honored to be one of 87 recipients sharing in an amazing $166,000 donated to organizations across our region.

This gift helps us continue our mission of bringing veterans to Washington, D.C. to visit the memorials built in their honor — a journey that changes lives, lifts spirits, and reminds our heroes how deeply they are appreciated.

To the McQuades team: your commitment to community, charity, and service makes a real impact. Thank you for standing with our veterans and helping us keep this mission flying strong. ❤️🤍💙

A huge THANK YOU to the Mandan Moose Riders, who presented a generous check to our mission from their 3rd Annual Indoor Fishing Tournament. Their dedication, creativity, and community spirit continue to make waves — and this donation helps us send even more of our veterans to Washington, D.C. for the trip of a lifetime.

The Cottingham Insurance Agency recently held a charity golf scramble benefiting local nonprofits. They selected the Western ND Honor Flight as the recipient for their 50/50 raffle held during the tournament. Pictured are staff from the agency presenting a check to WNDHF board members.

Also pictured is the team who won the 50/50 and generously donated their winnings to our mission.

We are continually grateful for the kindness and generosity of our communities.

Today, we salute the legendary Buffalo Soldiers — the trailblazing Black cavalry and infantry regiments who stood tall, rode hard, and defended our nation with grit, honor, and unwavering duty.

From the Western North Dakota Honor Flight, we proudly recognize these heroes whose service helped shape America’s military history. Their courage paved the way for generations of servicemembers who followed.

A group of people are hosting a rummage sale fundraiser in Mandan with the proceeds going to the Western North Dakota Honor Flight.
