In 1933, Tim Parker began working as a deckhand on the Black Warrior River for one dollar a day. By 1940, he had purchased the MV Heloise and founded Parker Towing Company. What began as a way to earn a living became a family business built on hard work, knowledge of the waterways and an understanding of customers’ needs. And more than 8 decades later, those same principles continue to guide Parker Towing.
