We all have to keep our brains active!!!
Use it or lose it!!! This week Birdsboro Lodge hosted the
Berks Elder Network meeting.
36 health care professionals got together to learn about
"end of life coaching." Karen Glass touched on a subject difficult for family to talk about. Karen has the experience to discuss topics people avoid. Karen's web site Karen-glass.com

There is availability at Birdsboro Lodge for those needing some help with activities of daily living. (ADLs)

A typical scenario, Mom , Dad or another loved one has an issue at home, resulting in a trip to the hospital. Next, off to the re-Hab. The loved one can then go back home where they had the original issue or find a senior care community where they will be safer.
People have the opportunity to be pro active, prior to an issue at home. Calling the Berks Area Agency on Aging and explaining the concern is a great idea. 610-478-6500
