WFP candidates call on Gov. Hochul to invest in our communities by making the wealthy pay their fair share.

People all across Broome County are struggling with a persistent affordability crisis. Rent is skyrocketing, healthcare is unattainable, and basic necessities are becoming more and more expensive each day. Meanwhile, the ultra-wealthy continue to reap massive profits off the backs of working families and unfair tax systems.

It’s time they pay their fair share. It’s time we tax the rich.

By taxing corporations and the ultra-wealthy, we can generate the revenue we need to make critical investments in our community. We can have well-funded schools, build truly affordable housing, and invest in our public infrastructure.

It’s time that Gov. Hochul taxes the rich. Let her know by getting involved:
