🦸 HELP YOUR CHILD FEEL BRAVE, CONFIDENT & PREPARED! 🦸‍♀️

Big Bear Sheriff’s Station is proud to host the Joyful Child Foundation's BRAVE Workshop, a FREE 90-minute, age-appropriate safety workshop for children in kindergarten through 6th grade.

The BRAVE Workshop teaches children practical skills to help them recognize unsafe situations, set personal boundaries, and respond with confidence. Through age-appropriate instruction and interactive activities, children will learn:

⭐ The difference between good, bad, and uncomfortable touch
⭐ How to recognize and respond to unsafe situations
⭐ Verbal and physical skills to help distract, escape, and get to safety
⭐ Ways to build confidence, awareness, and personal safety skills

After an extensive search, Big Bear Station is saddened to report that Brian Schofield was found deceased near his campsite yesterday, August 3, 2026, at 5:25 pm. After a preliminary investigation, investigators observed no signs of foul play regarding his death.
The Big Bear Station would like to thank the community for sharing the information in the search for Brian.

SUMMARY: Brian Schofield was camping with his fiancée
at Yellow Post Campsite #33 in Fawnskin when he was reported missing by his fiancée at 8:53 a.m., on August 3, 2026. Brian was last seen at approximately 11:30 p.m., on August 2, 2026, at the Yellow Post Campsite #33 before going to bed. When his fiancée awoke in the morning, Brian was nowhere to be found.

Brian Schofield is described as being 6'2", approximately 180 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. Brian was last seen wearing a blue t-shirt, camouflage shorts, orange hiking boots, and a gray beanie.
