The Citrus County Sheriff’s Office joins our community in honoring the life and legacy of former Citrus County Sheriff Charles “Charlie” Dean Sr.

Following our earlier announcement of his passing, the Dean family has asked us to share the statement below:

𝗪𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝘃𝘆 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘀, 𝘄𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗳 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗯𝗲𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗱 𝗵𝘂𝘀𝗯𝗮𝗻𝗱, 𝗳𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿, 𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗳𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵, 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗹𝗲𝘀 “𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗹𝗶𝗲 “𝗗𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗦𝗿.
