ALNG youth, grades 8-12 only, are invited to join us, July 26th, at Birmingham Boulders for a night of rock climbing as we identify character strengths and learn ways to improve teamwork, overcome challenges, and become more effective leaders.

This is an overnight (Lock-In style) event for the youth. Drop off will be at 8:00 pm and pick up is no later than 7:00 am. Rock climbing and games are free of charge. Had such a wonderful day today catching up with Lisa Kay Dunster and sharing our desire to help strengthen military families. Lisa started Compass Retreats for just that purpose! In 2010 Compass was the first military family retreat our family ever attended. I can’t stress enough how beneficial it, and the numerous other military retreats we have attended, have been for our family! If you are a military family and are interested in learning more about resources for your family and the free Retreats that are available to military families then pm for details and info. It does not matter if you are active duty, reserves, National Guard or retired! If you served in a combat zone, you qualify. This includes all conflicts!
