Benton currently has 1 application submitted for the 2026 Launch Lafayette County Grant Program, and with the Friday, May 29, at 12:00 PM deadline fast approaching, now is a critical time to help spread the word.
Your ongoing support in encouraging local businesses within your municipality to apply is deeply appreciated. These grants are a valuable opportunity for small businesses, and your outreach could make all the difference for those who haven't yet applied.

The 2026 Launch Lafayette County Grant Program is now open and accepting applications. The Launch Lafayette County Grant is a competitive grant designed as an incentive program to assist existing and new Lafayette County businesses with under 25 full-time employees in updating their facilities, improving visibility, refining facades, and otherwise improving the prominence of a business within their community. CONTINUING THIS YEAR! Thanks to the Small Business Development Grant received from the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation, grant recipients may be awarded up to $10,000, with a 50% match required. A total of $45,000 will be granted in 2026!
Grant Application, Program Details, Restrictions, Dates, and Award Amounts can all be found online at the Launch Lafayette County Webpage.
All applications will be reviewed and given equal consideration. However, the quality and clarity of your submission matter. Please ensure your application is well-written, grammatically correct, and easy to understand. Strong applications will clearly demonstrate a need for the proposed improvement and show how it adds value to the community. Effort, thoughtfulness, and attention to detail will be taken into account during the review process.

🔥🔥🔥Supervised Burn Days — April 26th — May 3rd🔥🔥🔥

Fires should not be started before 7 AM Sunday, April 26th and must be completely extinguished by 5 PM Sunday, May 3rd. Burning of materials other than brush, leaves, and garden waster, or burning outside of these specified times may result in a fine of up to $100.
