Ok here’s the update on the storms. The main threat Tuesday night into Wednesday morning is damaging winds up to 80mph 30% chance of it happening we are in an enhanced risk. 15% risk of pocket change hail and no tornado threat (thank god) I won’t truly know what to expect until the storms form and are near the ND MN border so this is what I got for now. Wednesday still has all hazards of severe weather to my knowledge. Will have better info tomorrow afternoon when I post next. Once again I am a self trained severe weather enthusiast not a trained meteorologist.

I am quite honestly speechless at the model uptrend recently. We are in a tornado driven enhanced risk for late Tuesday night into Wednesday morning and a slight risk of all modes of severe weather on Wednesday. Starting off with Tuesday night/Wednesday Morning. If any storms form around 12-3am s**t could get real. 70mph winds, baseball sized hail and the POSSIBILITY not guarantee large tornado. Wednesday sometime I believe later in the day hard to be certain we will be at risk of up to 70mph winds, pocket change sized hail and an isolated tornado or 2. There is still loads of uncertainty surrounding these forecasts but as the days progress I will be able to gather a more concrete forecast. Sorry if I sound like im fear mongering im honestly shocked.

I know I just said this about last Wednesday but this Wednesday I looking extra bad. 15% risk for winds up to 70mph, golfball sized hail and a possible tornado. The SPC said in their recent forecast if models continue to agree a 30% unconditional risk will be added. Based on conditions im seeing and the increasing size of the day 4 sec outlook I believe if storms are in Bemidji at the right time in the mid to late evening we could have severe thunderstorms both Tuesday and Wednesday. Can someone tell me if I worded this less scary. Im working on my tone.

More severe weather is on its way Wednesday. This event will support all hazards of severe weather including tornadoes, damaging wind and large hail. This is 6 days out which concerns me but more than anything the nws already issuing a day 6 slight risk concerns me even more. I will be watching this threat as it evolves. Providing updates whenever relevant.

g3 geomagnetic storm tonight. Viewing will be limited untl 3 am where It will still be considered a moderate storm. Just north of Bemidji will have solid viewing around midnight. If youre free Friday go enjoy some beautiful lights!

Severe threat is still possible. 0 agreements about rainfall so expect 0.2-0.5 inches with aa possibility of more. Enough rain you can have a bonfire tomorrow as long as you still follow safe fire precautions. More storms are in the forecast so it's looking like fire weather will not make a return anytime super soon! Forgot to include it in my last few posts. I am not a degreed meteorologist and I make 0 money off this so I have no reason to cause mad panic. All I do is read models and put what they say here Admittedly early this time but ill work on being less early next time.

No real update for today other than we might either be added into the 15% wind risk or we might be removed entirely it could go either way. Hail is also a risk. So as a recap we are currently in a 5% damaging wind and hail risk for tommorow evening. Winds up to 65mph and up to quarter sized hail. 95% chance of nothing happening but that 5% chance is enough imo to bring important items inside.

So unfortunately this is looking like less of a rainmaker and more of a wind event. Still in a marginal risk for severe weather which in the end will likely be just wind. 5% chance something happens 95% chance it's just rain. Areas just to the north of Bemidji have a marginally higher chance of seeing 1" of rain but Bemidji will only likely see 0.2-0.3" of rain. Sorry if I worried anyone with my initial posts. Models definitely have chilled the hell out over the past few days.
