WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS?

Texas public school districts currently collect approximately $42 billion annually through property taxes.

With massive data centers and artificial-intelligence facilities moving into Texas using enormous amounts of electricity/water and receiving significant tax incentives, should Texas require these companies to contribute directly toward funding our public schools?

Imagine replacing the school portion of Texans’ property-tax bills by requiring the data-center industry to contribute the approximately $42 billion needed annually for public education.

This could:

✅ Significantly reduce homeowners’ property-tax bills
✅ Provide dependable funding for teachers and classrooms
✅ Require billion-dollar technology companies to invest in Texas communities
✅ Allow homeowners and small businesses to keep more of their money
✅ Potentially stimulate additional spending and economic growth

Should Texas pursue this idea? Would you support requiring large data centers to help replace school property taxes?

It’s a problem worth solving!

Protecting children should never become a partisan issue.

Federal officials report that ICE and its partner agencies have located more than 146,000 unaccompanied migrant children since January 2025.

Border czar Tom Homan has claimed that more than 62,000 were rescued from unsafe or exploitative situations including s*x trafficking, forced labor and abuse, although the government has not publicly released a case-by-case breakdown confirming how many were trafficking or kidnapping victims.

What we do know is that investigators have discovered children working illegally, living with improperly vetted sponsors and facing potential exploitation. Every child removed from one of those situations matters.

Meanwhile, the Democratic Socialists of America’s official platform doesn’t merely call for reforming ICE. It calls for:

• Abolishing ICE
• Ending ICE detention and deportations
• Legalizing migration
• Granting amnesty regardless of immigration status
• Ending visa caps and quotas

ICE should absolutely be held accountable when agents violate the law, and immigration enforcement should always respect constitutional rights. But dismantling the agency responsible for investigating human trafficking, child exploitation, international smuggling and other serious crimes is not a serious solution.

As with ANY Agency, reform what is broken. Prosecute misconduct. Strengthen oversight. But don’t eliminate the investigators working to locate vulnerable children and dismantle trafficking networks.

I’m ready to see Senator Bernie Sanders lead by example: remove the gates around his multiple homes, take the doors off, open his bank accounts so everyone can claim their “fair share,” and start handing over his paychecks. Maybe he should leave his keys in his unlocked cars for people to come drive anytime they want.

If he believes other people should surrender more of what they’ve earned, he should be the first to demonstrate exactly how that works.

📢 BELL COUNTY RESIDENTS: YOUR PROPERTY-TAX DOLLARS ARE BEING DECIDED

Bell County is currently considering its budget and property-tax rate for the 2026–2027 fiscal year. Commissioners intend to formally adopt both on Monday, August 24.

These decisions affect funding for county roads, law enforcement, the jail, courts, emergency services and other essential services but they also directly affect local taxpayers.

Before the final vote, residents deserve clear answers:

• Will the average homeowner’s county tax bill increase or decrease?
• Which departments or programs are receiving additional funding?
• Where can spending be reduced without weakening essential services?
• Are residents receiving enough value for the taxes they pay?

Whether you support the proposal or oppose it, now is the time to review the numbers and make your voice heard not after the decisions have already been made.

Today’s Fauci hearing was a complete waste of time and taxpayer dollars. After receiving a sweeping preemptive pardon from President Biden, Fauci repeatedly invoked the Fifth Amendment rather than providing the American people with answers.

We can now add this to the growing list of cases where no one is held accountable and no one faces consequences. The American people deserve transparency, accountability, and the truth.

The Washington Elite of both Political Parties continue to play by different rules of the multi tier American Justice System.

I think it was the Epstein Coverup that was the last straw for me.

President Trump should have the leaders of the U.S. intelligence community hold a press conference to present the available evidence regarding foreign election interference, the security of our election infrastructure, and the allegations of a government cover-up.

Hearing directly from the officials responsible for assessing and protecting these matters would likely give the public greater confidence in the information being presented.

It would also make it more difficult for critics to dismiss the discussion as simply partisan messaging and encourage people to evaluate the facts and evidence for themselves.
