Proceeds from the Pause to Thrive's "Brewery Bash" supports the delivery of integrated health and wellness programs to people suffering long term effects of trauma. Pause to Thrive became a partner of the Army National Guard in 2024 offering free programs to our military personnel, their families , and veterans, including the Yellow Ribbon pre and post deployment events. Programs focus on wellness, self care and mental health addressing Sleep Hygiene, Communication Skills, Social Wellness, Exercise, Nutrition, Dealing with Ruminating Thoughts, and more.

Pause to Thrive presents these topics one Sunday each month at The NJ Army National Guard Base in Sea Girt, working in collaboration with “The Guard’s” Behavioral Health Unit. Retreat programs are also available at the San Alfonso Retreat House

In addition to state wide Yellow Ribbon Events , Pause to Thrive has participated in the Watchfire for POW/MIA’s last October, The Run For The Fallen at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in September, Veterans Services Council and American Legion events, and others supporting our military and veterans

The event will raise funds to continue to support our one day and a 2.5 day retreat program for our military personnel at the San Alphonso Retreat House in Long Branch.
