Whatcom County deserves a prosecutor who leads with both strength and compassion. As prosecutor, my office will focus on three priorities:

1. Community Safety - Prosecuting violent crime and holding offenders accountable.
2. Victim Support - Ensuring victims are heard and receive justice with compassion.
3. Smart Justice - Expanding LEAD and alternatives to incarceration that incentivize recovery.

These aren’t just talking points. They’re how I’ve worked for the people of Whatcom County for the past 10 years and how I will continue to lead.

With over 15 years of prosecution experience, Erik has led major cases and served as Chief Criminal Deputy Prosecutor, overseeing the felony division with a focus on fairness and results. He also helped implement the LEAD diversion program, connecting individuals to treatment and addressing the root causes of crime.

A Bellingham resident, husband, and father, Erik is committed to strengthening our community through smart, balanced approaches to public safety.
