For sixteen years I was Director of Human Resources for a City… I LITERALLY sifted through resumes and narrowed the field of applicants from many to few hundreds of times!! If, when I interviewed the applicant, they appeared to have way less confidence in their ability than they conveyed on their resume, you can guess what happened…
As a Christian, I find that there are times I lack the confidence to do what I feel very strongly the Lord is calling me to do. I have confidence in the Lord being able to divide seas, even raise people from the dead. I have confidence in His finished work. IT’S NOT HIM I DOUBT, IT’S ME… If you have ever felt that doubt, or do now, the only explanation is that the “light of reality” has not yet come on in your mind. You see, “ YOU can’t!” but “THE HOLY SPIRIT dwelling in you, CAN!!”
Pastor Bill will explain all this from the Word for you tomorrow morning at 9:00AM or 10:45AM!
It all has to do with YOU understanding WHO YOU ARE IN CHRIST! When you get that, it fills you with confidence in the Holy Spirit dwelling in you, because of who you are in Christ! So, no dragging behind, we have been called up by the Lord God Almighty. Understand who you are as a born again Christian and get your confidence on!! We'll be looking for you in the morning!

What a wonderful morning at our Women’s Prayer Breakfast! 💕

We enjoyed sweet fellowship, delicious food, heartfelt praise, and were blessed by Lauren’s powerful testimony of God’s faithfulness and His healing power. The morning was beautifully capped off with a powerful time of prayer at the altar as we sought the Lord together.

“Take heart, daughter,” He said, “your faith has healed you.” – Matthew 9:22

So grateful for every woman who joined us today. God is good! ✨🙏

If you haven't read John 17, "Jesus' High Priestly Prayer" recently, take time to read it this evening... Jesus Christ pours out his heart of love for the Father and love and concern for those the Father gave Him. He talks about His time with the Father in Heaven and knows full well the torturous agony that is ahead of Him. Yet, we hear Christ's words as He talks intimately to His Abba about caring for His apostles and followers, including "us", after "it is finished." If you are a born-again Christian, pause and read it with your name substituted for "the ones" in the text! Then consider reading it as "the believers at Journey by Grace!" That is His prayer!! What does it look like if we truly do life "together" as "one with the Trinity."? Come learn and live!!! See you in the morning

"Jesus answered... For this purpose, I have been born, and for this I have come into the world; to testify to the truth. Everyone who is of the truth listens to My voice." There are so many voices "screaming" at us in this current culture. And it seems that people who are listening to a voice different than the one we listen to, are very eager to scream at us too!! Jesus said He came to testify to the truth. In John 14:6 Jesus said... "I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me" So from all of this, I conclude that a proper understanding of truth is incredibly important to living to the fullest our Christian way of life. If you agree, I'm sure you will want to come worship the Lord with us tomorrow morning!!! We will look for you at 9:00 or 10:45. Be ready to hear the truth!!!

The Dead Sea Scrolls Exposed the Biggest Lie Ever Told About the Bible

For centuries, critics claimed the Old Testament was gradually rewritten—edited, embellished, and reshaped long after the events it describes. According to this narrative, Scripture evolved through generations of religious power rather than faithful transmission. That theory survived only because no early manuscripts existed to challenge it.

Everything changed with the discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls. These manuscripts, dated from roughly 250 BC to AD 70, contain large portions of the Hebrew Bible—some over a thousand years older than previously known copies. When scholars compared them to modern Hebrew texts, the result was staggering: the wording was nearly identical.

The implication was unavoidable. The Old Testament had not been corrupted over time. It had been preserved. Scribes transmitted Scripture with extraordinary care, treating the text as sacred rather than flexible. What critics assumed was theological evolution turned out to be disciplined preservation.

Oswald Chambers says, and I'm paraphrasing, Christianity is not about you doing something. Ie. Asking God into your heart. It's about you receiving something from God, "forgiveness of sin." That may not strike you as a "radical" statement, but is so radical that it changed how the Jewish people lived out their faith for a couple thousand years BC. It is so radical that, especially for the typical "I CAN DO IT" American, that you may think you are living the Christian way of life but miss it!! The Biblical proof for this radical truth is so clear and powerful, you will want to hear it and live it!! This is one of our 2026 "CHRISTIAN FOUNDATION" messages.
