🚨 TORNADO WARNING 🚨
A Tornado Warning has been issued for northern Beaver County until 5:45 PM.
At 5:27 PM, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located about 6 miles southeast of East Palestine, Ohio, and was moving east at 45 mph. Radar has detected strong rotation within the storm, indicating that a tornado could develop quickly.
Communities that may be impacted include Beaver Falls, Monaca, New Brighton, Beaver, Rochester, Patterson Township, Conway, Big Beaver, Freedom, West Mayfield, Bridgewater, Patterson Heights, East Rochester, Fallston, Darlington, Eastvale, and surrounding areas.
If a tornado develops, flying debris will become extremely dangerous to anyone caught outdoors. Mobile homes could be heavily damaged or destroyed, while homes, businesses, vehicles, trees, and power lines could sustain significant damage. Given the storm’s fast movement, residents may have very little time to react.
🚨 TAKE COVER NOW. Move immediately to a basement or an interior room on the lowest floor of a sturdy building. Stay away from windows and exterior walls. If you are in a vehicle, mobile home, or outdoors, seek substantial shelter immediately and protect yourself from flying debris.
