Road conditions in the Bayou La Batre area have drastically improved. Do not let your confidence in the driving conditions catch you off guard. There is still a lot of packed snow/ice on the roadways. Our Patrol Unit is currently working a single vehicle that slid off the road. Continue to use caution or simple stay off the road.

Tonight we expect the roads to again freeze causing dangerous driving overnight and tomorrow morning.

Again, STAY OFF THE ROADWAYS!
