Weather pending, beginning the week of December 6th, paving crews are scheduled to begin the resurfacing project on US 31 from the south Bay Minette city limits to US 31/West Pine Street intersection near the Baldwin County Courthouse. The project will also include some modifications at the US31/SR59 intersection as well to improve safety at this intersection. Drivers may experience some delays associated with this work over the next few months as lane closures will be required to complete. Drivers will also encounter reduced speed limits in the work zone while workers are present. BMPD is asking all drivers who use this area to use caution and be patient in the area while workers are present.
