My name is Stacy L. Rowh, and I am officially announcing my candidacy for Bay City Council, Seat 1.
I am a licensed professional civil engineer with more than 25 years of experience in highway construction and paving materials. Throughout my career, I have worked on projects that required careful planning, fiscal responsibility, and long-term thinking—because the decisions made today affect communities for decades. I am running for City Council because I believe Bay City deserves leadership grounded in experience, common sense, and accountability.
As an engineer, I am trained to solve problems, evaluate facts, and deliver results. I have spent my career ensuring projects are built correctly, safely, and efficiently, while protecting taxpayer dollars. I want to bring that same disciplined, solutions-oriented approach to the decisions made at City Hall.
My priorities include responsible infrastructure investment, long-term planning, fiscal accountability, and smart growth that preserves Bay City’s character while preparing for the future. Strong streets, drainage, utilities, and public facilities are essential to public safety, economic development, and quality of life—and they must be planned and maintained with care.
Bay City is growing, and with growth comes challenges. I understand the realities of aging infrastructure, rising construction costs, and limited budgets. I believe in doing things right the first time, being transparent with residents, and making decisions based on facts—not politics.
I am running to serve, to listen, and to work collaboratively with residents, city staff, and fellow council members. My goal is simple: to help ensure Bay City remains a strong, well-planned community for today and for generations to come.
I respectfully ask for your support in the election for Bay City Council, Seat 1, to be held on May 2, 2026.
