🚒 Thank You, Town of Batavia Fire Department! 🚒

A big thank you to our neighbors at the Town of Batavia Fire Department, Inc. for loaning us Engine 21 while Engine 12 is out of town for maintenance.

Over the next couple of weeks, you may see Town of Batavia Engine 21 responding to calls throughout the City. The apparatus is being staffed and operated by City of Batavia firefighters to ensure uninterrupted service to our community.

We greatly appreciate the partnership, cooperation, and support of the Town of Batavia Fire Department. Working together makes both of our communities stronger.

PRESS RELEASE: June 4th, 2026 Cedar St Lane Closure

Please be advised that from June 8th to June 19th, one lane on Cedar St will be closed for necessary sewer repair work. It is anticipated that the lane will be closed during the weekdays from approximately 7am to 4pm.

Motorists should seek an alternate route to minimize traffic congestion. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Thank you for your cooperation.

The City of Batavia is accepting applications for a full-time Building Maintenance Worker!
💲 Pay: $23.85–$27.98 per hour
This position involves a variety of mechanical and general building maintenance tasks. Applicants must have at least two years of full-time paid experience in general building construction or maintenance work, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
