City Hall will be closed all day tomorrow, September 16th, due to City staff working the Mayor's Golf Tournament. This tournament was created as a fundraiser for local charities and families in need in the Basehor community.

The office will reopen on Thursday, Sept. 17 at 8 a.m. We would like to thank our community for your support of this important event.

Inspections will not be affected and will happen as scheduled.

It is hard to believe it has been 25 years since the tragic events of September 11, 2001. The City of Basehor pauses to remember victims who lost their lives during the attacks, as well as the first responders who sacrificed their lives for others on that fateful day. We will never forget to stand united as a nation, and come together in the face of tragedy.

Flags at City facilities are flying at half-staff today in solemn observance.

On February 11th, 2026, Mayor Drennon presented a proclamation honoring the Basehor-Linwood High School Bobcat Football Team, making the first Friday in September annually, as BASEHOR-LINWOOD BOBCAT FOOTBALL DAY! 🏈💚 We hope everyone enjoys those Friday Night Lights tonight! Good luck this season, Bobcats!
