Rec2Go is rolling into a neighborhood near you. From 9 a.m. to noon on select dates, families can enjoy a morning of games, arts, crafts and hands on activities.

Tabletop game enthusiasts are invited to roll the dice and join a new monthly social club! Tabletop Tuesdays will take place from 5:30 to 8 p.m. on June 2 at the Wabash Community Center, located at 1230 Southern Ave. in Lakeland.

Each session will feature open table play as well as monthly guided demos for players to learn games. This is a free event, but participants must be 18 and older for the June 2 session.

A session for teen players 13 to 17 will take place later this month on June 23.

The Summer Discovery Series at Wabash Community Center, located at 1230 Southern Ave. in Lakeland, features four specialty camps for teens ages 12 to 15 to explore new interests and hobbies. Each session includes interactive lessons, hands-on activities and off-site field trips.

One t-shirt will be provided with registration; additional shirts must be purchased separately. A $25 materials fee is required for each session. Exact cash or check only.

Register onsite at the Wabash Community Center from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Friday. For more information call the Wabash Community Center at 863-284-4223.

Join the crew at the Medulla Resource Center on Thursday, May 28, at 10 a.m. for the free event Neighborhood Storytime.

The event will feature the book, "How To Be a Lion" by Ed Vere, which teaches children to be true to themselves, embrace gentleness and reject peer pressure to conform.

Neighborhood Storytime is a free, monthly program designed to bring families and young children ages 6 and younger together through the power of storytelling. Each session features a different book, along with a craft project and an activity. The program runs from February to May.
