Notice to Residents

Residents of Oak Street, Fir Street, Elm Street, Cedar Street, Beech Street, and portions of South Barre Road:

The Barre Water Department will be repairing a water main on Oak Street on June 2 from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Water service will be temporarily disrupted for residents in the affected area during this time. Every effort will be made to complete the repairs as quickly as possible and restore service promptly.

NOTICE TO BARRE WATER DEPARTMENT CUSTOMERS

On Tuesday, May 26, the Town of Barre Water Department will be shutting down one of the wells beginning at 3:00 PM until 4:00 PM on May 27 for necessary cleaning and maintenance.

We ask for all residents’ cooperation during this time by limiting unnecessary water use, including: No outdoor watering, No filling of pool, No vehicle washing.

The Town will take all necessary precautions to maintain water service using the South Barre Well during this period.

We appreciate your cooperation and understanding while this important maintenance is completed.
