8th Grade B Team
Bandera showed determination and several promising stretches in a tough two-set matchup against Llano, falling 25–13 and 25–14. The Bulldogs improved as the match progressed and were especially competitive in the second set, using strong serving and timely side-outs to battle their way to an 11–10 lead. A few extended Llano serving runs ultimately created the separation, but Bandera demonstrated that when its serve receive, serving pressure, and transition offense came together, it could compete point-for-point. The match provided plenty to build on as the Bulldogs will continue working to stop opponent runs quickly, turn side-outs into scoring opportunities, and maintain the aggressive play as they prepare to travel to Ingram.
