For some adults, federal Medicaid eligibility may change next year. Starting January 1, 2027, you might have to complete new federal work requirements and renew your Medicaid more often.

These new federal requirements may NOT apply to you if you:
-Are in school, job training, or a work program
-Are pregnant or a parent or caregiver of young children
-Have a disability or are a caregiver for someone with a disability
-Have a long-term health condition

Make sure your contact info is current so that you can receive important information on any changes. Maryland wants you to stay covered. Visit MarylandHealthConnection.gov/Checkin to learn more.

We have some big news! 🎉 Starting July 1, HCAM will officially serve as the Connector Entity for Prince George's County through the Maryland Health Connection.

Whether you need to apply for Medicaid, compare Qualified Health Plans, or enroll in coverage for the first time — free, certified, one-on-one help will soon be available from HCAM’s skilled team in PG County!

We had a busy and impactful month! 💙 Our team was out in the community attending the Head Start Resource Fair, the Frank Hebron-Harman Elementary School Wellness Expo, the Anne Arundel County Police Department Community Health Fair, a community BBQ at George Cromwell Elementary School, and Congresswoman Sarah Elfreth's Constituent Resource Fair.

While Foster Care Month may be wrapping up, our commitment never does. Our MATCH (Making All the Children Healthy) team partners with the Baltimore City Department of Social Services to ensure children and youth in foster care receive the medical, dental, and behavioral health care they deserve.

Serving approximately 1,700 children and youth across Baltimore City, the MATCH team works tirelessly to coordinate care and support families across providers and systems — every single month of the year.
