Today, State Superintendent Dr. Carey Wright continued her back-to-school tour at Sudbrook Magnet Middle School in Baltimore County Public Schools, joined by First Lady Dawn Moore and State Senator Charles Sydnor III. Together, they toured the school, met with teachers and students, and celebrated the strong start to the new school year.

News Release: Today, State Superintendent of Schools Dr. Carey M. Wright announced a four-year decline in the statewide chronic absenteeism rate, the lowest since the pandemic, reflecting significant progress in getting students back into Maryland classrooms.
