We had a great Family Connection meeting yesterday! We heard information on the new mental health legislation, one of the largest expansion of mental health services in our states history, from Senator Dean Burke, and Jennifer Dunn of Ga DBHDD, region 4.

The next Decatur County Family Connection collaborative meeting will be held Wednesday, May 11 at 12:00 pm in the Kirbo Center at Southern Regional Technical College, Bainbridge.

In recognition of Mental Health Awareness month, the program will be provided by Senator Dean Burke, who will discuss the new mental health legislation, and Jennifer Dunn, Regional Services Administrator with DBDHDD, Region 4. Lunch provided. Please RSVP to Ronnie Burke at [email protected].
