πβ‘ AGHS Exam Update, Remediation Opportunities, and Senior Reminders β‘π
Chargers, we have had a great start to our exam period! Our students and teachers have done an outstanding job demonstrating the growth, learning, and hard work that have taken place throughout the spring semester. We are proud of the effort our Chargers are putting forth as they finish the year strong.
As exams continue, some students may be identified for remediation and retesting opportunities based on their exam performance. These opportunities are designed to provide additional support, reinforce key standards, and give students another chance to demonstrate proficiency.
β
When students participate in a retest, the higher of the two scores will count.
β
For End-of-Course (EOC) classes, the exam score accounts for 20% of the student's final course grade.
The remediation and retest process can have a meaningful impact on student achievement and academic success by providing students with additional learning opportunities and another chance to demonstrate their knowledge and skills.
If your student qualifies for remediation or a retest, both the school and the teacher will contact families directly with specific details regarding dates, times, transportation, and expectations. We strongly encourage students to take advantage of these opportunities.
