NPWW 2026
May 17–23, 2026
This year's theme “Rooted in Service, Powered by Community” acknowledges that the roots of service run deep in public works. It’s what has propelled public works innovations that have helped our communities evolve into places where people can lead lives of purpose and possibility. Some work—like building roads and bridges—is highly visible, while other public works contributions—like maintaining water and sewer systems—are sometimes hidden from view. Together, these efforts form the foundation of thriving communities, reminding us that every project, seen or unseen, powers the connection between service and the people it supports.

A Note From the Town Clerk:

We have started a new page on our website (www.ayden.com) titled "Good to Know". There I will post information that we think would be helpful, basic information about things going on around town, and departmental recognition days, etc. Please go to the website and see the banner at the top with a link to the page. It is very basic right now but I will add to it as I can.

Take Care,
Megan Carter

ELIGIBILITY

Eligibility for income-qualified rebates is based on your income and modeled energy savings at the installation address. You might be eligible for higher incentives, including insulation and air sealing improvements and/or qualifying HVAC improvements depending on income verification. Rebate projects must achieve a minimum of 20% modeled energy savings.

If you’re a renter, your property owner needs to sign a project authorization form on your behalf, along with supporting documents.

HOW IT WORKS

The process is simple but does require income verification and some paperwork. You can choose from a list of Registered Contractors to get started. Once the improvements are complete, the program provides a rebate to help cover the costs. This makes the initial investment more affordable and ensures long-term savings on your energy bills.

Five-step process: gather paperwork, apply for program, get energy assessment, choose a contractor, complete home upgrade.
Upload proof of income OR enrollment in a recognized federal program.
HOMES rebate applications require 12 months of utility bills for energy modeling.
Rebates depend on household income and energy savings.
Higher energy savings mean higher rebates.
We assist in verifying your income qualification.
Understand your home’s energy use with a professional assessment.
Create a custom action plan to unlock rebates and incentives with your energy assessor.
