🎣 BUILDING SAFER FISHING COMMUNITIES | EWS TRAINING

Yesterday, September 3, 2026, under the leadership of Mayor Romner A. Agustin, a training on Early Warning System (EWS) and Proper Handheld Radio Orientation for Fisherfolks was conducted to strengthen preparedness, communication, and safety among our local fishing communities.

The activity equipped fisherfolks with essential knowledge on early warning mechanisms, proper radio communication, and emergency preparedness, helping ensure faster and more effective response during emergencies and changing weather conditions.

👏 Acknowledgment and appreciation are extended to the Office of the Municipal Agriculturist (OMAG) and the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (MDRRMC) Office for their efforts and support in making this important activity possible.

The Local Government Unit of Dilasag, under the leadership of Hon. Romner A. Agustin, Municipal Mayor, proudly participated in the 126th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary (PCSA) Kick-Off Celebration held at APECO, Casiguran, Aurora.

The celebration was filled with energy, camaraderie, wellness, creativity, and sportsmanship, featuring Zumba, Fun Run, and TikTok Challenge Competition.
