🌽 Prairie Valley Hybrid Update – V7 Stage 🌽

These Prairie Valley hybrids are progressing nicely at the V7 growth stage. The fields remain clean with no visible w**d pressure and no insect pressure at this time.

Both fields have received a Constraint herbicide application, and the results are showing. The crop is looking strong, healthy, and uniform, while rows remain clean and free of competition.

Corn is officially in reproductive stage R1. Over the next few days, pollination is in full swing. 🌾 Each silk needs a grain of pollen to make a kernel — no pressure, right?

Now’s the time to:
✔️ Watch for silk-clipping pests (aka-Japanese beetles).
✔️ Time fungicide right to protect yield.
✔️ Hope for mild weather to give pollination the best shot.
