The Network for Better Nutrition is seeking donations of emergency food in kind or cash donations to provide food for the victims of Hurricane Matthew in Haiti. This is an ongoing program and your help is desperately needed to prevent Malnourishment and disease.

I pray this letter finds you in good health, with God’s blessings resting upon you. Because of your prayers and financial support we have been able to minister to people in four Countries during the past 6 months. CDR provided emergency assistance in Sierra Leone, the Bahamas, Ethiopia and Haiti. Thousands of families have received life saving aid in the form of medical care, food, clothing, new shoes and most important the Gospel presented in WORD and DEED.

Last month a Food Ministry in Canada agreed to provide us with 6 container loads of food. Each container holds 899,000 meals. We have already picked up the first container and it is on its’ way to Southern Ethiopia, to be distributed by local churches. It took all of our Emergency Funds to pay the shipping cost. We must pick up one container each month or we will lose all of the food reserved for us. One other requirement from the supplier is, that the food must be distributed by missions and or churches in third world countries. So we can not distribute the food in the USA. We are talking with a source, that may provide for distribution here in the USA, as there is a growing need here in America.

The Network is working with our affiliate Christian Disaster Response to raise funds to help those affected by the devastating Eathquake in Nepal which has left thousands dead and thousand of others without shelter, food or medical assisitance.
