🚨 ATTENTION FOUNTAIN COUNTY, WARREN COUNTY & NORTHERN VERMILLION COUNTY RESIDENTS Along the Wabash River 🚨
With the exciting launch of the Wabash River Blueway project, we are expecting a significant increase in recreational water traffic. To ensure everyone's safety, the Covington Fire Department is mapping out emergency access points across Fountain County and our immediate neighboring areas.
Do you live along the Wabash River in Fountain, Warren or Northern Vermillion County? Do you have a private boat launch, a clear path, or easily accessible river frontage?
If you are willing to grant our crews emergency-only access to your property during a water rescue or incident, please reach out! Having these access points pre-mapped can save critical minutes when seconds count.
