Home in 5 "Home in 5" is a name that represents the efforts of wanting to create more homes in DFCS Region 5 in the state of Georgia. The partnering agencies are:

Kristen Parker, Region 5 Adoption Coordinator, will be leading the August training and discussing Adoption Services for youth age 18+.

The Home Stretch Speaker Series is a new Home in 5 offering that provides quarterly training for all Region 5 Case Managers, Agency Staff, Service Providers and Community Partners. Trainings focus on high-demand topics and CEU Certificates are provided to all attendees.

Join CFLM for their annual Family Fun Day and a celebration of local foster and adoptive families and those who support them! Come dressed to get wet on the giant water slide and slip-n-slide! All Region 5 Foster and Adoptive Families are invited to a Learning to Care Workshop focussed on Trauma-Informed Parenting. Led by Katie Deans, the evening will encourage, educate, and equip parents and those serving and supporting children that have experienced trauma. 2 Training Hours will be available for all DFCS and Private Agency families. Dinner and childcare provided.
