The Clayton County Board of Commissioners is committed to providing informative
and educational programming about government programs, services, and initiatives. The Broadcasting and Communications Division is committed to providing informative and entertaining programming through its cable station Clayton County Access Television, CCTV-23. CCTV-23 spotlights individuals and departments that govern the county, and focuses on events and activities going on in and around the county that are of interest to our citizens. TV-23’s mission is to provide information on the operations of local government departments to the citizens of Clayton County and to keep them connected with county wide progress and events. CCTV-23 is a 24 hours a day 7 days a week information service of the Clayton County Board of Commissioners. To be eligible to post information on CCTV-23 an organization must be a government department, agency, or receive direct support from the Clayton County Board of Commissioners. As part of its communication of information within Clayton County, our television network operates a television studio with a staff that provides visual media support to our county and our affiliates. Clayton County operates CCTV-23, the public access channel designated by Comcast Cable for the citizens of the county. The county uses the station to provide information for public service announcements and notices, celebrity appearances, community events, local business highlights, awards, achievements, a current job board and instructional programs. It is estimated that the viewership of the channel reaches approximately 80 thousand households. The programs are produced monthly. The television services staff provides video coverage for county wide programs, board meetings, exclusive interviews and special events based on requests for announcements to be aired. Requests should be sent to [email protected] using the form on our contact us link. Requests to post announcements on the air should be submitted through a designated Media Liaison. Great swings, a great cause, and a salute to our hometown heroes! Clayton County Board of Commissioners Chairwoman Dr. Alieka Anderson-Henry, Clayton County hosted the 18 Holes for Heroes Golf Tournament at Whitewater Creek Golf Club, bringing the community together to honor our first responders and raise funds to support public safety initiatives.

From exciting golf challenges and a million-dollar hole-in-one opportunity to community fellowship, the event was about more than golf. It was a celebration of those who work tirelessly to keep Clayton County safe.
