The dets of 1-111th AVN are a 6 aircraft Medical Evacuation Company comprised of multiple aviation elements split over two locations, CNGC in Marietta and HAAF, in Savannah. 1-111th General Support Aviation Brigade (GSAB) Georgia is made up of 3 Detachments in 2 locations, Clay National Guard Center in Marietta Georgia and Hunter Army Airfield in Savannah Georgia. The three Detachments are compris

ed of a Charlie Company (Medical Evacuation), Delta Company (Aviation Maintenance Company), and Echo Company (Service Support Company). The 1-111th GSAB Georgia is manned by Aviators, Medics, Crew Chiefs, Helicopter Mechanics, Flight Operations Specialists, Signal Specialists, Ground Vehicle Mechanics, Aircraft Refuelers, and Technical Supply Specialists. Together all three units maintain, fuel and operate HMMWVs, HEMETT Refuel trucks, and HH-60M Blackhawk Helicopters.
