🐺 Welcome to the Pack, Brooke Weitzel!

We are excited to welcome Brooke Weitzel to WGES as one of our new paraprofessionals! Brooke was born and raised in Georgia and is no stranger to Walton County Schools. She has previously served our district in both school nutrition and custodial roles.

Brooke is the proud mom of two boys, and they love spending time together exploring different parks. We are so happy to have Brooke taking on a new role and joining the Wolf Pack! 💙🐾

🐾🔬 STEM Club is OFFICIALLY underway! 🔬🐾

Today was an exciting day in Mrs. Ballard’s class as we kicked off our STEM Clubs! We are SO excited to be part of Helping Paws and to partner with the Walton County Humane Society to make a difference in the lives of animals in our community. 🐶🐱❤️

Today, our students became researchers! 🔎 They researched adoptable animals at the shelter and learned about their individual needs. Students also researched specific items and resources the shelter needs to better care for the animals.

We can’t wait to see where this project takes us and, most importantly, to watch our students use their creativity, problem-solving skills, and big hearts to help our community! 🐾💙
