Last night, City of Dunwoody - Government Council took an important step forward by advancing a rooftop solar initiative for two of our city facilities. This is expected to generate immediate cost savings, reduce emissions, and strengthen our long-term energy resilience — all with no upfront cost to the City.
This is a great example of a practical, collaborative effort between City staff, our Sustainability Committee, and Council. It’s also just the beginning — I’m excited to continue exploring additional opportunities across Dunwoody, including other facilities and even concepts like covered parking.
