Yesterday was a launch party.

But more than that, it was a reminder.

A reminder that community is built one conversation, one friendship, and one act of service at a time.

Looking around the room, I saw neighbors, friends, mentors, colleagues, volunteers, and people who have been part of my journey for many years.

I left feeling grateful.

Grateful for the
✨encouragement,
✨belief, and the
✨opportunity to serve the community that raised me and the place where Mike and I are raising Charlie and Oxford.

Yesterday wasn’t the finish line.

It’s the beginning.

And the best part is that we’re building it together.

Onward. 💙

We’re just getting started.

I’d love for you to join us this Sunday in East Cobb as we officially kick off the next phase of our campaign for HD45.

Last Tuesday’s primary gave us our first real snapshot of the road ahead, and one thing is clear: The opportunity ahead is real.

Based on turnout patterns in HD45, the general election electorate is expected to be 5x larger this fall, bringing many more families, newer residents, and other voters into the conversation.

That’s why our focus remains the same: showing up, having real conversations, and building connections across our community.

I’m deeply grateful to everyone who has supported this campaign so far, and I’m excited for what we’re building together.

This Memorial Day weekend, we spent time with family in Ellijay and passed a roadside memorial honoring local soldiers who gave their lives in service to our country.

Seeing their names lining the road was a quiet but powerful reminder that sacrifice is never abstract. These were members of a community. People deeply loved by those around them.

Their sacrifices made it possible for future generations to keep moving forward. To build families, communities, and a future of our own.

May we live worthy of their sacrifice.

ONWARD.

I’m incredibly grateful for everyone who supported this campaign through the primary election and helped us reach this moment.

Now it’s time to get to work for the general election.

This is where the real work takes place:
Listening.
Organizing.
Building relationships.
Showing up for our communities.

I’m ready for what’s ahead, and I’m deeply grateful to be on this journey with all of you.

Let’s keep moving forward, together. 💙🍑

Early voting numbers in Cobb County were STRONG, and now it’s time for an even bigger Election Day turnout. 💙🍑

More than 78,000 Cobb voters cast ballots during early voting, already surpassing turnout from recent primary cycles. That momentum matters.

If you haven’t voted yet, today is your chance to make your voice heard.

Polls are open from 7 AM–7 PM.

Swipe for HD45 polling locations and precinct information.

Let’s finish strong, East Cobb.

HD90 friends: I spent part of today knocking doors in Lake Claire and realized some voters may not know that two candidates listed on the ballot have officially withdrawn from the race.

Their names still appear on the ballot, which could understandably create confusion for voters heading into Election Day.

I’m sharing this PSA so people can make informed decisions before casting their ballot.

Before voting, take a moment to review the current candidate status so your vote reflects your intent.

Please share with anyone voting in Georgia House District 90.

Spent today knocking doors with in HD90 and there’s something really grounding about connecting with people.

Lots of good conversations, thoughtful voters, and neighbors who genuinely care about their community.

Grateful to everyone out there showing up, volunteering, canvassing, organizing, and participating in the process. Democracy is powered by people.

Also shoutout to everyone knocking in Georgia this weekend 😅☀️

Today was bigger than one campaign.

It was a beautiful day to knock doors with incredible volunteers and candidates across East Cobb.

There’s something powerful about neighbors showing up for each other, conversation by conversation, block by block.

This is what democracy looks like. And it was a lot of fun. 💙

This endorsement means so much to me.

I’m honored to receive the endorsement of Vote Mama, an organization dedicated to supporting mothers running for office across the country.

As a mom raising young twins here in East Cobb, this endorsement carries deep meaning for me personally. Vote Mama believes that mothers belong in positions of leadership and decision-making, and that our lived experiences matter in shaping stronger communities and a stronger future for our children.

Running for office while balancing family, work, and community responsibilities is not always easy. But organizations like Vote Mama remind women across the country that our voices matter, our leadership matters, and our presence in public service matters.

I’m proud to stand alongside so many women and mothers who are stepping forward to serve their communities with compassion, courage, and determination.

Thank you, Vote Mama, for your trust and support.

Georgians are paying attention right now because structural changes to elections and representation matter deeply.

When rules around voting, local elections, or district maps change, people want confidence that the process is transparent, fair, and centered on representation, not political advantage.

Trust in democracy is strengthened when communities feel their voices are heard, their votes matter, and the rules apply fairly to everyone.

That’s why so many people are concerned about both the move toward nonpartisan local elections in parts of metro Atlanta and the call for another special session to redraw maps.

Voters deserve clarity, accountability, and a system that reflects the people it serves.

Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp on Tuesday signed House Bill 369, which shifts races for district attorneys, county commissioners, tax commissioners, and other local offices in Fulton, DeKalb, Gwinnett, Cobb, and Clayton counties to nonpartisan elections beginning in 2028.

Some Republicans had joined Democratic calls for Kemp to veto the bill, saying that changing the election rules should apply to all Georgia counties, not just a handful in metro Atlanta.
