Children’s Christmas bicycle charity project. AS ALWAYS THERE ARE LOTS OF WAYS TO HELP---

PLEASE PLAN TO PARTICIPATE & HELP IN ANY WAY YOU CAN!

Bonner’s Bikes For Tykes began in 2011 with Ed Bonner (Buchanan GA), a group of generous friends & family & the goal of helping to share the true spirit of the holiday. He wanted to make Christmas morning a little brighter for children in need around Haralson County & the surrounding areas. Every year he, & now all of his elves, work tirelessly to collect monetary donations & donated bikes & get t

hem to kids. We work with DFCS, CASA, Toys For Tots & other local charities to make the dream of a new bike on Christmas morning a reality. (We serve children ages 5-12yo)

We average about 100-150 bikes per year!!

2020 was especially challenging with the pandemic & the loss of Ed’s sister, Monique, days before Christmas. Thanks to contributors in her name we were able to donate a bike to every young child in foster care in Haralson, Polk & Carroll Counties!

2021 posed a whole new set of problems-- supply chain shortages & rising prices limited the scope of our efforts, but we were still able to provide over 50 bikes to area kids!! WAYS TO HELP:

We hope every child receiving one of our bikes on Christmas morning has an AMAZING holiday & enjoys what was made possible by the GENEROSITY of others!

& we hope that each family that received one of the donated bikes 🚲 can find some small way to "pay it forward" for someone else in the coming New Year.

A HUGE THANK YOU to Santa Ed Bonner & all of our supporters for another wonderful year of giving!!

The final donated bikes were delivered today to Haralson County Family Connection & CCC & Haralson County Toys for Tots

In fact, even late on Christmas Eve he can usually be found delivering last minute bikes to deserving homes!

Our project works with DFCS, CASA, Toys For Tots & other local charities to make the dream of a new bike on Christmas morning a reality.

We average about 100-150 bikes per year!!

As we prepare to begin the campaign for 2021 we realize that this years supply chain shortages & rising prices are probably going to limit the scope of our efforts, but we still plan to donate as many bikes � as possible.
