When retailers check IDs to make sure their customers are at least 21, underage to***co sales drop way down.

✅ 99% of retailers who checked a customer’s ID didn’t sell to someone under 21.

🚫 But, nearly two‑thirds of retailers who didn’t check ID ended up selling to an underage buyer by mistake.
