Come see us on Saturday at the Buncombe County Sports Park, helping out with the Buncombe County Government bike safety rodeo! Fun for kids and families alike. Learn about cyclist safety with educational courses, emergency services demos, therapy animals, slow bike races (with prizes!) and a bike parade. The event is free and no registration is required. 🚲

The In the Loop Downtown Brevard Circulation Study is exploring ways to improve how people move to, through, and around downtown while supporting Brevard's unique character and vitality. After evaluating traffic patterns, safety trends, walking and biking conditions, parking, and future growth, the project team is ready to share what they've learned and hear from the community.

Last week, the French Broad River Metropolitan Planning Organization's Board unanimously approved a resolution to support Lennie's Law, a measure to create "bicycle safety zones" with higher fines for speeding along popular bicycle corridors in North Carolina.
