✨New Ownership Alert✨

I’m so grateful for your support of Honeycomb Asheville over the last two+ years. I began Honeycomb with hopes that it would build connections between people during pandemical times, that small local businesses would get the spotlight, and that folks traveling through the area in vacation rentals would get a taste of the bounty our region has to offer. I’d say we accomplished these things - thanks to you!

After a busy season where the interest in Honeycomb far outgrew my ability to deliver the best, I took a step away to determine what might be next. I had all kinds of ideas, but none were right. The season my family was in grew and changed, and I sensed a deeper tug to pursue a vocational calling. I knew that to take Honeycomb to the next level, it would need more than I could give.

I am so happy to say that Honeycomb will continue under new leadership! The Welch family owns a small business that specializes in property care, management, and real estate. I’m excited to see Honeycomb in more vacation properties across our corner of Western North Carolina, and thrilled that Honeycomb can continue its mission of spotlighting local makers, artists, and businesses.

I’ll continue to be a full time mom, and I’m finishing certification as a birth and postpartum doula for the Swannanoa Valley. I’m honored to continue to build community in this way.

Stay tuned for a re-launch of Honeycomb in the coming weeks.

Hello…it’s me…with an update about all things Honeycomb. We had a lovely summer and are settling into autumn 🍃🍁🍂🌧🌤 A new season always brings some kind of sea change, and I’ve been sitting with this one for a while.

Honeycomb is moving to a pop-up collection only, with collections available for pre-order before release. We will continue to serve our existing vacation rental clients, but will not accept new ones at this time.
1. It’s a smarter business move and
2. The shift helps me stay focused on the areas of life that matter the most to me right now - my precocious toddler and family, my own well-being, and staying off social media.

Seriously, if I could hire a social media manager I would! I like to just disappear from my personal account and, sadly, that doesn’t work super well for businesses that depend on social media marketing. A more focused collection release lets me do more of the creative work rather than stare at a screen 💯

I’m a bit sad to move away from serving you all for individual just-because gifts and special corporate bundles, but this change is the next right thing and honestly so liberating.

Cheers to you, friends, who helped Honeycomb get this far, and we’ll be in touch about our Christmas and holiday collection! ✨

Hi hey hello! This post makes official what’s been unofficially true - we’re on summer break! That means:
1. The inventory on the website is available until it’s gone. Most boxes are listed at a sale price to clean out current stock.
2. We won’t be getting new inventory until the fall.
3. If you order boxes for your vacation rental, we’re happy to continue to fulfill orders through the summer.
4. Our social media presence will be scant. But we’re still here! Email us if you need to get in touch.

A variety of personal circumstances pointed us in the direction that a business break was our next right thing. We plan to return September 1st!

We have some fun news! In three weekends Bloom in Black Mountain will host an open air Mother’s Day market...and Honeycomb boxes will be there! We’ll have two box options available at the farm stand, similar to our Beekeeper Box.
Annnnnd we’ll have limited quantities of Bloom flower posies available for local delivery only as a fantastic addition to select boxes. More details to come.
