Skunks are mostly active at night and love wooded areas, fields, and even backyards.

They can spray up to 10 feet with shockingly good aim! 🎯

Their spray contains sulfur-based chemicals that stick to skin, fur, and clothes.

💡 If you or your pet gets sprayed:

Mix 1 quart of 3% hydrogen peroxide, 1/4 cup baking soda, and 1 teaspoon of dish soap for a powerful de-skunking solution.

Avoid water at first—it can make the smell worse!

Rinse thoroughly and don't forget to wash collars and leashes too.

🚫 If you see a skunk hanging around your yard, DON'T try to trap it yourself—they're quick to defend themselves when scared!
