Today, we pause to recognize and honor all firefighters—both past and present—who have proudly served our community.
We are especially grateful for those who came before us. Your dedication, hard work, and sacrifice built the foundation of our department and shaped it into what it is today. Because of you, we continue to serve with pride and purpose.
To our current members—thank you for your continued commitment to protecting and supporting our community. Your willingness to answer the call at any hour does not go unnoticed.
And to those no longer with us, we remember your service, your impact, and the legacy you leave behind.
From generation to generation, the fire service is more than just a job—it’s a tradition of service, sacrifice, and community.
Thank you to all who have worn the badge.

As expected with the lack of rain we are now in a very high category for fire danger. Do no burn until conditions improve, it would be very easy for a controlled burn to get out of hand quickly in our current conditions.

Our new restroom was set at the Arlington Firemen's Park today! Next steps are to have our lift station completed, internal plumbing finished, final electrical terminations and then finish the apron and landscaping with the goal of having it ready for use before spring softball league starts. Thank you to the members that have worked hard to get us this far and the community for your support with our fundraising efforts!

Now that things have calmed down, don't forget to clear furnace intake and exhaust, water heater vents, gas meters, and last but not least. Fire hydrants!!

Stay safe everyone, hang out at home tonight and let the plows get things opened up. Roads are better but very slippery and drifted at times.

Looks like snow is in our future, not a bad idea to run errands today and be off the roads tomorrow.
