Last week the Fire District was honored to be visited by the group Blue Star Mothers of America and two survivors of 9/11. Blue Star Mothers is an organization that was founded during World War II, originally to offer support for mothers of serviceman.
The Fire District was presented with new flags to be flown on the back of each fire apparatus as well as a 9/11 flag. These flags are proudly being flown and displayed by the Fire District.
