🚒🛠️ Back from MOBEX 2026 🛠️🚒
After three days of intense training, Florida Task Force 3 is returning home today from a statewide mobilization exercise (MOBEX) in Central Florida, bringing together all of Florida’s Urban Search & Rescue teams for large-scale, real-world scenarios.
Yesterday’s evolution challenged our team with a simulated two-story parking garage collapse, involving multiple pancaked floors, nine live victims, simultaneous extrications, and a high-angle rescue.
From start to finish, our members operated through a long, demanding work cycle with professionalism, coordination, and grit. Complex problems, multiple moving parts, and one team working seamlessly toward a common goal.
FLTF3 is comprised of dedicated members from Hillsborough County Fire Rescue, Florida, Tampa Fire Rescue, and St. Petersburg Fire Rescue, a unified team built on the strength, skill, and commitment of each agency.
