I then became full time C.L.E.E.T. (Council on Law Enforcement Education and Training) certified in 1999. I have worked in the capacity as a Police Officer, Deputy, District Attorney’s Investigator and Drug Task Force Agent for the past 14 years in the areas of city, county and state law enforcement, which has been all in Pushmataha County. I already have an established working relationship with l
ocal, state and federal agencies. I have earned over 715 hours of CLEET law enforcement education and training and hold over 65 different law enforcement certificates along with 74 Criminal Justice degree accredited hours from Eastern Oklahoma State College. I have instructed a National Gang Resistance Education and Training (G.R.E.A.T.) curriculum at the Hugo and Idabel Public schools to students in the classroom. I am a CLEET certified basic instructor and law enforcement driver trainer (LEDT) instructor. Because of my experience, training, education, working relationship and established work ethics and dedication to the people of this county, I am the most qualified candidate for Pushmataha County Sheriff. I have been a consistent law enforcement presence in this county for my entire career. My commitment to this community and county as a law enforcement officer is indisputable. If elected sheriff, I bring to the office experience, fairness and dedication.
