Big, short week after Memorial Day as County Attorney. County Board meeting on Tuesday. Wednesday over to Blaine for the groundbreaking of the long awaited Highway 65 project. Then the St. Francis High School American Indian Education Summer Gathering, Graduation Celebration and award ceremony on Thursday. Some amazing young people with bright futures up there. And then a Board of Directors meeting at the Minnesota County Attorneys Association in St. Paul. Lots to do, and more to get done! ❤️

Bright and early this morning at the Elections window in the Government Center, I was in the No.1 pole position to file for a second term as Anoka County Attorney (2027-2030).

In this first term, we worked to crush Anoka County's historic backlog of criminal cases, increased significantly the number of felony cases charged, reinstated and improved a diversion program, increased the training and skills of our professional staff, helped County Human Services and Economic Assistance knock down a backlog of fraud investigations, and so much more.

I am pleased to support such a talented staff and office of lawyers who put in huge time and effort to protect and serve Anoka County. And I am thrilled with how our office now works with its law enforcement and other justice partners to develop cases and seek justice whenever and wherever we can.

We all do better when we all work together.
