PVC Celebrated New Year's Eve with dinner at Metzger's and movies around town. We had about 15 members at dinner and everyone enjoyed the company and the food.

PVC went to a Japanese steak house for restaurant club last week. Nine of us enjoyed both the food and the show.

PVC got together at Gallup Park for a great day, nice weather, food and friendship yesterday. We all had a great time and as usual, everyone had a great time.

PVC does Greenfield Village for the 4th of July. Great fireworks, DSO plus the Army Field Band, exploding stuff and some great martial music - what could be better.

PVC took a summer bike ride at Kensington Park yesterday. Perfect weather, great company and great scenery.

We came, we grilled, we conquered. 12 PVC members helped out last weekend at Foodgatherers Grillin' fundraiser. We worked in almost every area including ticket sales, recycling, salad bars and kitchen help. The fun started at 3:00 PM and everything was knocked down and ready to go 30 minutes after the event ended at 8:00 PM.

PVC got together for a spring cleanup of the NEW Center grounds this month. We had good weather and a good time at Casey's afterwards.

Last month, we had a great time helping Food Gatherers with their warehouse operations.

PVC members spent time at the Food Gatherers warehouse sorting green peppers, putting them into bags, and loading them into boxes on a palette, for delivery to local food banks.

PVC members assembled a mailing for the school.

PVC members enjoyed pleasant social conversation as they put together a 630 piece mailing of the school's annual report. A complex assembly, it involved multiple parts - the report, an insert, and envelopes. Careful placement of the materials in a certain order along with multiple folds and tabs were required to complete the project.

Intrepid PVCer's painted rooms at the NEW Center last weekend then, as usual with PVC events, retired to Casey's afterwards for the best pastrami sandwiches in town. Do you love that color? Hey, we are just the painters!
